People tend to overeat or choose unhealthy meals when they are very hungry. Never wait until you are famished before finding something to have as a snack. Always plan your meals in advance, and don’t forget to have healthy snacks available. Bring your own lunch instead of going to a restaurant. Planning ahead protects both your waistline and your wallet! Being very hungry usually results in making poor food choices. Eat before you’re extremely hungry to avoid the trap of overeating. You should consider taking a dance class if you enjoy dancing. Use a variety of trails and explore new terrain if you enjoy hiking.
Eliminate junk food from all of the places that you spend significant amounts of time and eat on a regular basis. It may be painful to hear, but if the junk food isn’t available, then you can’t consume it. Turn your workplace and your home into healthy food zones. If you’re a person who loves to snack, make room in your cupboards for fruits, vegetables, and seeds.
Look to your friends for help. They are there for this reason. Make sure that you have a support system of people who will cheer you on when things get tough.
